I think crochet is old fashioned. I feel like a nanna when I do it. It makes me feel incredibly un-sexy and unbearably tame. nonetheless, I cant help myself. Its so soothing. I love that it requires almost no equipment. you can take it anywhere. you can watch telly while you do it (i'm watching series one of 'modern family' at the moment. get it out. Now. you will laugh your arse off), and when you're finished you have somehing cool. I'm not talking about a crochet bikini, or some kind of quasi-nanna wrap, or even a granny square rug (though I love them), I'm talking mittens. fingerless mittens... am I rockin' your world yet? mittens. cool.
